EMAD ASFOURY
L.A. Color Studio has been owned and operated by Mr. Emad Asfoury for the past 15 years. Emad is a cinematographer by trade with a bachelors degree in applied arts, 1982. Mr. Asfoury worked as a news freelance photographer and exhibited at the Geute institute in 1979 long before graduation. Now, Emad has established a unique vision in which he composes his photographs, polished by years in the dark room as an accomplished black & white gallery printer during his ownership of L.A. Color Lab in the early nineties. His candid journalistic photography is captured by his talent in anticipating the "decisive moment", rather than interrupting the action and motorizing the cameras. Emad is a member of the "Professional Photographers of America", "Wedding and Portrait Photographers International", the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, and NACE.
ts. What's important, however, is capturing the personality and the concepts that we set out to achieve. A typical session requires a week to ten days advanced booking time, four to five days for previews, and then two to three weeks for the final prints. We offer print sizes from wallet size all the way to 30"x40" canvas mounted, hand tinted, and airbrushed quality master pieces.
